biography
Bellatrix is the oldest of the three daughters of Cygnus and Druella Black. She spent her childhood wreaking much havoc, and generally terrorising her parents and siblings. One of her favourite things to do was explore the large mansion her family lived in, finding all the hidden nooks and crannies, and using this knowledge to her advantage whenever she felt the need to jump out and scare somebody (an urge that often came about). From a young age, Bellatrix's family (her parents and her Aunt Walburga, especially) instilled in her a great sense of family and Pureblood pride, something that has always stuck with her. Everything about her has always showed she knew that she was better than others (in her opinion, anyway). Her smug sense of superiority was often encouraged by her parents, who were proud to have a daughter who followed along with their Pureblood propaganda to a tee. Bellatrix also spent a lot of time at Grimmauld Place (still does). She never got along very well with her cousin Sirius, but she always liked to play with Regulus. She liked to tell him horror stories, just to scare him a bit, and tease him, but it was all in good fun. She adores her Aunt Walburga, and has always seen her as a prime example of what a Pureblood woman should act like. When Bellatrix went to Hogwarts in her first year, she was excited to finally gain a little independence from her family, and she knew they'd be showing up in later years anyway. She was sorted into Slytherin, of course, something she and her family were very proud of. She still liked to find hidden places in the dungeons and such, and took pleasure in terrorising fellow students, even though she often got in trouble with the Hogwarts staff. Over the years, Bellatrix excelled in school, and though she did get in trouble more than she may have liked, that fact never really got back to her parents much, and if it did, she was always ready with a good excuse. If she hexed a mudblood, they understood, and just told her to try and be more discreet about it. Currently, Bellatrix is just waiting to be done with school, so that she may pursue other endeavours. Her parents intend for her to marry off to a nice, wealthy, Pureblood man, and though she has no interest in marriage, she knows she must do what her parents please.

personality
Bellatrix is a smug, slightly stuck up girl who believes that she is better than all those around her, because of the fact that she is Pureblood, or her intelligence, or her good looks, the list just goes on for her. She can be very stubborn, and quite cruel, and is not above fighting at school, no matter how many detentions it gets her. She cares not for anyone who is not Pureblood, and considers them less than scum, something she has no problem voicing aloud. Bellatrix can be very cruel. Things she finds to be amusing are often things other find to be gruesome, and she takes pleasure in hurting those around her (physically and otherwise). She has a soft spot for certain members of her family, but she does not always show that to them, often taunting and teasing them as she would any other person.

Bella is 5'10" and weighs 125 lbs. She has sharp cheekbones, long fingers, intense blue eyes, and thick, black hair that can get unruly if not properly tamed. She is always sure to look her best, wearing only the finest of clothing and fabrics, and taking the time to perfect her hair and make up. The fact that she is thin makes her seem even taller than she already is, and the regal air she carried herself with makes her presence seem much larger than her small form. Her skin is slightly tanned, differing from the ivory skin of most of the members of her family. She is an extremely beautiful woman, and she knows it, often times using this fact to her advantage to get what she wants. PB: Marina Perez
